Enchanting Holiday Cottage in Mousehole South Cornwall only yards from the sea
We were very happy at Driftwood

Our first two days were really lovely with blue skies and sunshine, walks to collect kindle, mulled wine from a lady outside the Ship and singing at the Christmas Eve service.We were very happy at Driftwood. The beds and bedding were lovely and comfortable; bathrooms great too.We then had a surreal moment that evening when we watched the Countryfile programme on Mousehole.
We certainly took a shine to Mousehole

We had a very nice time there during the week and the weather was certainly on our side.
We enjoyed our visits to the Minack theatre, St. Ives and St. Michaels Mount in particular and certainly took a shine to Mousehole itself.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Driftwood and how we loved Mousehole!
A good decision and one we hope to repeat.
Still loads to do in the area and I need to go back to see a storm!
Fireworks for New Year were wonderful

What a lovely atmospheric village. The lights around the harbour are beautiful. Fireworks for New Year were wonderful. Will definitely return. The cottage is very cosy with the wood burner going on a cold winter’s day.

We booked this cottage completely blind from America and could not have picked
better. Thank you for a great time with our family in Mousehole. The cottage was so well equipped and so nice. We ate drank and walked and watched the lights and had the best Christmas. Our family enjoyed this supreme location. The cottage was wholly equipped to accommodate our Christmas dinner. Outlying walks are the best to be found in Cornwall. We would be delighted to return. A wonderful time in a wonderful cottage. Cosy and well appointed. It was the perfect place to spend Christmas.
